Thai band ETC releases video for “I’m Hurt… but I’ll get over it” featuring 2PM’s Nichkhun


Earlier in the month Thailand’s, the ETC BAND released a video teaser for “I’m Hurt… but I’ll get over it” featuring 2PM’s Nichkhun. Now, the MV has finally been released!
As many of you know, 2PM’s Nichkhun is part Thai and most of his family lives in Thailand. He’s currently experiencing a lot of popularity in the country and to capitalize on this, the ETC BAND recruited Nichkhun to be featured in their video.

2PM’s Junho poses with his beloved cat


2PM’s Junho recently posed for a picture with his adorable kitty.
On May 15th, the idol tweeted, “What are you doing my love? Kiss me kiddie” and uploaded a picture of his beloved pet.
In the picture, Junho is seen pouting his lips at his gray cat, demand a kiss from the shy kitty. Fans have been going crazy over this pair’s cuteness overload.
Netizens commented, “Junho’s lovable expression is alive”, “I want to be that cat”, “Can you call me ‘my love kiddie’?“.

2PM to release their first photobook, “This is for my Hottest”


2PM, who is currently amidst their Japanese promotions, published their first photobook.
On May 9th, JYP Entertainment released 2PM’s first concert photobook titled “This is for my Hottest“. This photobook contains photos from 2PM’s encore concert from last September and fromMnet’s 2010 Ultimate Live concert.
In addition to these concert photos, 2PM’s beastly image can be found in their practices and rehearsals. Fans will also get to see a bit of 2PM’s honest sides through their individual Q&As. Thankfully, they have also included English translations of the text for their international fans.
CJ E&M Music Concert Business Division representative stated,
Not only Korean fans but fans from Thailand, Taiwan, Singapore, Philippines, etc. have purchased 30,000 copies of the first edition photobook.
Additionally, 2PM plans to release their first Japanese single “Take Off” on May 18th.

2PM wraps up a successful concert tour in Japan


While dominating the music charts with #1 spot on Japanese music charts with ‘Take Off,’ 2PM also managed to dominate ticket booth sales as they quickly sold out all the seats for their Japanese concert tour. Well, the tour is over now and it has reportedly been a huge success.
2PM’s first Japanese concert tour–entitled ‘2PM 1st Japan Tour 2011 ‘Take Off”–kicked off in Sapporo on May 6th and ended earlier today on the 13th in Tokyo. Tour stops also included Fukuoka (8th), Osaka (9th) and Nagoya (10th). 2PM also added another concert in Tokyo on the 12th to please fans who couldn’t get a hold of a ticket when they were first released.

Each of their concerts opened up with a countdown starting at 1:59PM. As 2:00PM hit the countdown clock, 2PM made their entrance onto the stage and opened up with ‘Don’t Stop Can’t Stop’ and‘Without U.’ In addition, the beastly idols held a conversation session with their fans and each member showed off his own charm with a solo stage. They also screened their music video for their Japanese debut single ‘Take Off’ – which will be released on the 18th – at the concert.
In total, they performed 22 song over the span of two hours.
n response to the success of their tour, 2PM stated, “Before the tour started, we were nervous and had our worries. However, the love that our fans showed us at the concert became our strength; it was really touching. We deeply thank our Japanese fans for loving both our music and us. In addition, we want to thank the staff members for working so hard. We will work even harder in the future.”
2PM will return to Korea on the 21st after wrapping up their album promotions in Japan.

More K-pop groups leave for MBC’s Hallyu concert in Japan


More of Korea’s top music stars took off for Japan to attend MBC’s 50th anniversary charity concert, “Legendary Korean Music Wave Live in Tokyo 2011“.
Having seen miss ASHINeeB2STSG Wannabe, and SECRET leaving on an earlier flight on May 13th, more K-pop stars followed on an evening flight after completing their day schedules.
Those who left on the evening flight included f(x), 4minute, SISTAR and 2AM. The girl groups had to pre-record their Music Bank performances earlier in the day before catching the later flight.
And like always, the airport was dazzled by the idols’ glamorous airport fashion
With such a formidable line-up, it’s no wonder that K-pop fans in Japan are super amped for the May 14th concert at the Saitama Super Arena!

2PM's Nichkhun and f(x) Victoria team up for "Caribbean Bay"


2PM’s Nichkhun and f(x)’s Victoria were selected as the new 2011 models for “Caribbean Bay.”
Already know as a couple through MBC’s “We Got Married“, the two will be continuing their sweet antics as models for the brand. According to representatives, the couple will be trying out the water park’s latest attraction, the ‘Aqualoop’, for their next CF together.
It wasn’t only Nichkhun that was signed on, as the rest of the 2PM members were re-contracted for another year as well. Fans can thus look forward to new energizing CFs of the members and Victoria promoting the park. 2PM had worked with SNSD in Carribbean Bay’s previous campaign.
