As the endorsement model of “Etude House“, Sandara Park is back with another cute CF for the makeup brand.
This time, she stars as a charming beach girl for the CF titled, ”It’s Summer”.
In Korean, it’s written as “Yeoreum ee da“, but to add a pun, the company transformed the saying to “Yeoreum ee dara!” so that it spells out Dara’s name at the end.
Making every aegyo pose you can think of, Dara will surely help ‘Etude House’ sell out the special mascara she’s promoting!
In celebration of 2NE1’s two year anniversary, member Dara left a special message on May 17th for their fans through her official Me2day.
She wrote, “Congratulations 2NE1’s birthday!!! ^.^ Today! is! 2NE1’s two year anniversary!!! Clap clap clap!!! Everyone must be listening to ‘Lonely‘ a lot! Explosive gratitude! So touched! I love you! ^.^”
She continued, “Even when hardships come our way, let’s pool our strengths together and take them on side by side~ We’ll always be with you with good music, impressive performances, and a genuine heart! 2NE1, let’s play!!!”
Fans commented, “10 years, 20 years, and more than 50 years from now, let’s be together~”, “2NE1’s popularity is soaring through the sky!”, and “Let’s all run!”
Earlier, we reported that 2NE1’s Dara would be giving a special lecture on social networking at Yonsei University. Much attention is now being put on what she discussed with the students, and although details weren’t revealed, it seems like she’s made quite the impact.
Dara reported used her two-year experience with social networking site ‘Me2day’ as the base of her lecture. She currently has over 350,000 Me2day friends, with whom she actively reaches out to with posts both personal and professional.
Although she is 2NE1’s communications director, Dara began the lecture with, “I’m not in a position to be giving lectures, so I’d like to use your precious class time to discuss what goes on at the scene.”After talking a bit about her thoughts on using Me2day to communicate with her fans, she went on to reveal that “sincerity, fun, and naturalness” were of the utmost importance with SNS use, not just to solely marketing.
Professor Lee Mun Kyu commented, “After we came upon the social networking age, I always thought that Dara was one of the successful cases in Korea. I think it’s quite meaningful that she was here to join us today in class and talk directly with the students.”
Immediately after the lecture, students used their own Twitters to praise, “Dara’s not only gorgeous, but also has a certain calm to her that makes lectures fun.”
The lecture was originally meant for 100 students, but after hearing that it was Dara giving the lecture, five times the amount showed up, creating a bustling atmosphere.
2NE1’s Sandara Park recently uploaded a picture of herself at Yonsei University, right after she had spoken for a special lecture at the school.
Sandara Park was invited as a guest speaker for a marketing class, and specially received a hooded jumper as gift for her contribution. Sandara wrote on her Me2day, “This is a present I received after the lecture~!!! ^.^ I’m one who really likes hooded jumpers too!!! I’ll wear it often~! When 2NE1 get invited to Yonsei again, I’ll definitely wear this! ^^”.
On May 16th, 2NE1’s Dara will be giving a special marketing lecture at Yonsei University, which will also include a Q&A segment as well as a free talk session.
Dara will be lecturing on the topic of “The public, and discussions with the fans” for a 30-40 minute period. It’s said that she’ll be discussing her experiences in the Philippines, the process it took for her to debut in 2NE1, and finally her career as a singer.
Representatives of YG Entertainment stated, “As 2NE1’s communications director, she’s working hard at the task with sincerity. She’ll be using her real life experience and applying it in a lecture about communicating with the public.”
Through her Me2day, Dara wrote, “I don’t often give speeches even during school, so I’m a bit nervous and feel weird.”
Having revealed promotional shots earlier, Etude House revealed three web teasers for Sandara Park’s endorsement of their new summer collection, ‘Aloha Girl‘.
The three web teasers are titled, ‘Catch me Dara’, ‘Water-play Dara’ and ‘I’m a rocker Dara’. They showcase Dara’s never-ending charms while she touts their product, “Proof 10 Henna Fix Mascara“.

Fans received a shock after 2NE1’s Dara publicly revealed her cell phone number through her Me2day!
On May 10th, Dara uploaded a picture of her business card and wrote, “In the early morning, I become sensitive. Dal-ong is so lonely. Am I going to get into mischief tonight?! Whatever~! Revealing my number! I’m so lonely!”
She also added, “If I’m working, my manager or the other members might take the call for me.”
As it turns out, her number’s actually for a unique promotions tactic that YG Entertainment is using for “Lonely.” Representatives revealed, “If you call the number written on the business card, you’ll be able to hear a portion of ‘Lonely’ that repeats. It’s a unique event, and we’re already receiving an explosive response with hundreds of calls.”

Make-up brand “Etude House” has revealed that they’ve sold out 40,000 of their special pink bunny umbrellas in just one week, thanks to their endorsement model, 2NE1’s Dara!
Orders began pouring moments after pictures of Dara holding the umbrella were released.
The umbrellas were created with Dara’s rabbit nickname as the motif, and were sold for $2 USD if customers purchased over $20 worth of products.
2NE1’s Dara transformed into a lovely ‘Hawaiian lady’ for Etude House’s summer season collection, “2011 Aloha Makeup.”
Dolled up in pink lipstick and a cute flower accessory in her hair, Dara’s more than ready to jump over spring into the summer season for the warm beach.
This new collection is special in that it features a variety of refreshing colors representative of Hawaii and their tropical beaches. The added bronzing effect is expected to give a youthful glow to any skin tone.
