Dara Park of 2NE1 sells 40K pink umbrellas in a week for "Etude House"

Make-up brand “Etude House” has revealed that they’ve sold out 40,000 of their special pink bunny umbrellas in just one week, thanks to their endorsement model, 2NE1’s Dara!

Orders began pouring moments after pictures of Dara holding the umbrella were released.

The umbrellas were created with Dara’s rabbit nickname as the motif, and were sold for $2 USD if customers purchased over $20 worth of products.

SNSD voted #1 as the anticipated idol comeback

Kathryn Bernardo signs contract with Star Cinema; affirms friendship with Mara Clara co-star Julia Montes

Pumirma ng two-picture contract sa Star Cinema ang Mara Clarastars na sina Kathryn Bernardo at Julia Montes last Wednesday, May 4.

Patunay ito na tuluy-tuloy na ang pagpu-push sa dalawang teen stars as ABS-CBN's next important stars dala na rin ng success ng pinagbibidahan nilang primetime series.

Sa panayam ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) kay Kathryn, she expressed her gratitude and happiness sa tiwalang ibinibigay sa kanila ni Julia ng ABS-CBN, at ngayon ng Star Cinema.

"Sobrang grateful naming dalawa ni Julia, kasi ngayon movies naman," nakangiti niyang sabi.

"Siyempre, iba yung movie sa television, kaya nagpapasalamat kami sa Star Cinema na pinagkatiwalaan nila kami.

"Alam naman natin na iba ang movie sa teleserye, so sana patuloy kaming suportahan ng mga tao."

MOVIE WITH AJ PEREZ. Hindi pa masabi ni Kathryn sa PEP kung ano ang istorya ng unang pelikulang gagawin nila ni Julia sa Star Cinema. Pero hindi raw ito ang movie version ng Mara Clara.

"Ang alam ko, sasabihin yung project next week na rin. Pero siyempre, hindi mawawala yung about the family and normal life ng mga teenagers," sabi ng 15-year-old actress.

Ito rin sana ang pelikulang dapat ay launching sa big screen ng tambalang Kathryn Bernardo-Albie Casino at Julia Montes-AJ Perez.

Pero hindi na ito naabutan ni AJ dahil sa nangyaring aksidente noong April 17 na kumitil sa buhay ng young actor.

"Siyempre, sobrang sayang, kasi first time naming makaksama sana si AJ. Pero itong project na ito, ibang project na siya," sabi ng dalaga.

Ayon kay Kathryn, binago na ang naunang concept ng pelikula nila, maging ang direktor nito. Kung ang unang plano ay si Cathy Garcia Molina ang magdidirek nito, ngayon ay si Jerry Sineneng na.

"Iba na talaga. Pero siyempre, sayang kasi sana magkakaroon kami ng chance to work with AJ. Pero di nga natuloy."

RIVALRY. Sa kabila ng pagkakaibigang nakikita kina Kathryn at Julia, hindi pa rin matapos-tapos ang isyu na nagsasabing may matindi raw talagang competition sa pagitan ng lead stars ng Mara Clara.

"Kami ni Julia, magkaibigan talaga kami," diin ni Kathryn.

"Yung mga nag-aakalang magkaaway kami, kung alam lang nila ang closeness and friendship naming dalawa."

Samantala, sinasabing sila ni Julia ang dalawa sa susunod na important stars ng ABS-CBN, bagay na sobrang ikinatutuwa ni Kathryn.

"Wow! Sobrang thank you!" sambit niya.

"Before wini-wish lang namin ni Julia na sana maging ganun kami, katulad ni ganito.

"Pero ngayon, paunti-unti, natutupad na yung mga dreams namin.

"Ang ganda ng itinatakbo ng career namin dahil sa tiwala sa amin ng ABS-CBN, at ngayon ng Star Cinema."

“YG ON AIR” episode 2 featuring 2NE1’s “Lonely” MV set, Big Bang’s Japanese tour, and more

A new episode of YG Entertainment’s “YG ON AIR” aired on May 6th, and although there were no live performances of any sort, it was still filled to the brim with exclusive YG-related footage.

”YG ON AIR” is a collaboration with Korean portal site Naver, and it consists of media content that YG Entertainment directly produces. YG had planned this for a long time, as they had always wanted to break away from the frames of broadcast programs and create fun content based on their own ideas.

Park Min Young is the "CF Queen" of "KDB Life"

Actress Park Min Young has cemented her position as ‘CF Queen’ with her latest endorsement deal for “KDB Life“, an insurance finance brand.
