David Beckham involved in a Car Accident on LA Freeway
David Beckham was involved in a car accident on one of the busiest freeways in all of Los Angeles ... and the driver of the other car had to be taken to a local hospital ...
According to law enforcement sources, Beckham was driving a black Cadillac on the 405 Freeway near Torrance, CA yesterday morning ... when he rear-ended a gold Mitsubishi that was broken down in the carpool lane.
We're told the driver of the Mistubishi, who was inside the car and wearing his seatbelt at the time, had to be taken to the hospital -- but Beckham did not require medical attention.
Law enforcement sources tell us Beckham was not arrested or cited on the scene.
A call to Beckham's rep was not returned.
UPDATE: Sources close to Beckham tell us his son Brooklyn was in the car at the time of the accident, but that he and David were both not injured.
Nicole Scherzinger to co-host "X Factor"
Former Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger will co-host the upcoming TV singing show "The X Factor", Fox television said on Saturday, but there was no official word on whether former "American Idol" judge Paula Abdul had signed up as the final judge.
Scherzinger will host the contest along with British TV presenter Steve Jones, Fox said in a statement. But on the eve of the first scheduled auditions in front of judges on Sunday, the statement omitted any mention of Abdul.
Abdul, who quit "Idol" two years ago in a contract dispute, was reported earlier on Saturday to be in final talks to join her old "American Idol" sparring partner Simon Cowell, British singer Cheryl Cole and record producer Antonio "L.A." Reid on the "X Factor" judging panel.
"The X Factor", created by English music entrepreneur Cowell, is due to air on Fox in the fall of 2011, offering a $5 million prize and a recording contract for the winner.
The celebrity line-up gives "X Factor" a strong British flavor, and gambles on introducing new faces to prime time U.S. television.
Although the sarcastic Cowell became a household name in the United States in his 10 years on "American Idol", Cole -- a member of British pop band "Girls Out Loud" -- is virtually unknown in the United States despite being a big star at home, where she has been a judge on the U.K. version of "X Factor."
Jones, a former fashion model and now a British TV presenter, is also a newcomer for U.S. audiences.
Cowell has spent more than a year putting together the celebrity line-up for his "X Factor" venture, which he announced in January 2010. He has made no secret of his desire to work again with Abdul.
Since Cowell announced plans for "X Factor", "American Idol" -- still the most-watched TV show on U.S. television -- has been revamped and has grown its audience after years of slipping ratings, and several other rival TV singing shows have been launched.
They include "The Voice" on NBC, which boasts a star power panel of coaches/judges in Christina Aguilera, country singer Blake Shelton, Maroon 5 front-man Adam Levine, and R&B singer and producer Cee Lo Green.
Park Bom felt pressured promoting first ahead of 2NE1’s comeback
With a ‘perfect all-kill’ under her belt, 2NE1’s Bom is looking ahead to what already seems like an explosive promotion cycle for the group’s upcoming comeback.
In her interview with Star News, Bom revealed, “I didn’t think that ‘Don’t Cry‘ would be ranked first, so it was very surprising. There was a lot of pressure since I was the first up to bat for 2NE1’s comeback, and fortunately I’ve received great results.”
She continued, “I think I was really lucky. Even though I felt the pressure of being first, I convinced myself to believe that it was good pressure. I truly did my best in order to make sure that everything was perfect. I’m so happy to be receiving so much love.”
At the mention of 2NE1’s triple title tracks all winning first place trophies last year, Bom was then asked whether the group felt any pressure with this promotion cycle.
She replied, “We actually felt more pressure last year. This time, our focus is on enjoying ourselves. We just want to show everyone who we really are.”

Kim Hyun Joong website homepage hacked
SS501’s Kim Hyun Joong, who recently opened fanclub membership for his new solo fanclub, “Henecia“, reported that his official homepage was recently hacked. Cyber investigations have begun, and KeyEast has asked fans to refrain from submitting membership applications for the time being.
The hacker changed the notification post so that fans were now required to pay a $35 USD membership fee, and even went as far as to change the bank accounts associated with it.
Another false post was made, informing fans that they would receive a special fan-meet opportunity with the star in Jeju Island for an extra fee of $100 USD. An additional $800 USD fee was asked for those wanting a 1:1 dinner meal opportunity.
Representatives of KeyEast stated, “The official homepage was recently hacked. We would like to inform fans that the account listed in the notification is not KeyEast’s account, and that the Jeju Island fan-meeting is also false and has nothing to do with KeyEast. We will be halting all membership applications for Henecia for the time being.”
They continued, “The case has been turned over to cyber investigations. We would like to apologize for raising concerns.”

CNBLUE’s Yonghwa picks SNSD’s Seohyun as his ideal girl
On May 7th, CNBLUE’s Yonghwa guested on KBS 2TV’s “Entertainment Weekly” and chose his “We Got Married” partner, SNSD’s Seohyun as his ideal woman.
During the broadcast, the show’s reporter asked the members of CNBLUE to name an ideal type. When it came to Yonghwa’s turn, the idol was specifically asked, “If you had to choose your ideal woman between f(x)’s Sulli and SNSD’s Taeyeon, who would it be?”
After a short pause, Yonghwa sensibly answered, “I will pick Seohyun.” He went on to express a bit of shyness over his reply, warming the hearts of viewers.

Jay Park made his debut at Inkigayo
After several thunderstorms in the past 2 years, “Giant Baby” Jay Park is finally bringing back the ‘Jay Effect’ on tonight’s SBS Inkigayo stage for his debut solo album promotions!
Jay recently released a seven-track mini-album, “Take A Deeper Look” which is packed with a diverse range of genres from R&B to hip hop and dance, along with an impressive line-up of guests likeDavichi’s Kang Min Kyung, Dok2, and The Quiett.
Six out of the seven tracks were composed by him, and all seven feature his very own lyrics, all of which exemplify his growth as a singer-songwriter.
His title track, “Abandoned“, is an R&B track that goes back and forth from a high tension tempo and a quicker beat. Alongside the modern melody are lyrics of sorrow over lost love.

2PM's Nichkhun and f(x) Victoria team up for "Caribbean Bay"
2PM’s Nichkhun and f(x)’s Victoria were selected as the new 2011 models for “Caribbean Bay.”
Already know as a couple through MBC’s “We Got Married“, the two will be continuing their sweet antics as models for the brand. According to representatives, the couple will be trying out the water park’s latest attraction, the ‘Aqualoop’, for their next CF together.
It wasn’t only Nichkhun that was signed on, as the rest of the 2PM members were re-contracted for another year as well. Fans can thus look forward to new energizing CFs of the members and Victoria promoting the park. 2PM had worked with SNSD in Carribbean Bay’s previous campaign.

Super Junior’s leader Leeteuk was recently raised some concerns amongst fans after it was revealed that he was hospitalized for exhaustion.
On the morning of May 8th, the idol tweeted, “Exhaustion.. I’m at the hospital getting an IV treatment.”
