Dara Park reveals her phone number for a unique “Lonely” event

Fans received a shock after 2NE1’s Dara publicly revealed her cell phone number through her Me2day!

On May 10th, Dara uploaded a picture of her business card and wrote, “In the early morning, I become sensitive. Dal-ong is so lonely. Am I going to get into mischief tonight?! Whatever~! Revealing my number! I’m so lonely!”

She also added, “If I’m working, my manager or the other members might take the call for me.”

As it turns out, her number’s actually for a unique promotions tactic that YG Entertainment is using for “Lonely.” Representatives revealed, “If you call the number written on the business card, you’ll be able to hear a portion of ‘Lonely’ that repeats. It’s a unique event, and we’re already receiving an explosive response with hundreds of calls.”

T-ara’s Jiyeon, Eunjung, & Hyomin visit a haunted house

To prepare for their upcoming horror films, T-ara’s Jiyeon, Eunjung, and Hyomin visited a deserted home in Paju that was rumored to be haunted.

Jiyeon, who starred in “Death Bell“, commented, “There’s definitely something eerie about the film set of horror movies. You have to overcome your fear no matter what. If you visit places like this before you begin filming, it will really help out a lot for your filming.”

Hyomin added, “I heard someone call out to me and ask me to pull them out.” The girls eventually left the scene 15 minutes after they went in because they were too scared to continue any further.

Eunjung’s “White Curse” and Hyomin’s “Gisaeng Ryung” are scheduled to hit theaters in June and August respectively this Summer.

YG Entertainment is kicking off their 2NE1 promotions with full-force through this second teaser for ”Lonely“.

While yesterday’s clip featured CL, today’s video exhibits Minzy’s more mature vocals. In fact, the captions in the video promise that fans will get to hear Minzy’s “warm and emotional voice“.

Thai news article mistakes JYP representative as Nichkhun’s wife?

Is 2PM’s Nichkhun a married man? Well according to a false report made by a Thai newspaper, the idol is now off the market.

Recently, Nichkhun, his family, and JYP Entertainment staff members went to visit the King of Thailand at the hospita he was staying at. A popular Thai newspaper reported on Nichkhun’s visit but made an error when they said, “Nichkhun with his mother and wife made a hospital visit to the King“.

In the article, the woman who was mistaken as Nichkhun’s wife was actually a female publicist working for JYPE. Her gorgeous looks dazzled the Thai reporter, and as it turns out, she once competed in the Miss University pageants during her college days.

A JYP representative explained,

“Famous people who visit Thailand make a point to visit the King.

While Thai fans were proud to see Nichkhun make a hospital visit to the King, they were taken aback to see the false report about his ‘wife’.'”

We were informed that the Thai newspaper did report the news correctly in that Nichkhun was married but they never did indicate that the woman was his wife as indicated by the Korean media.

After School’s tap performance gains praise from international tap dancers

After School gained worldwide recognition with their powerful tap dance performance.

The idol group recently performed a tap dance version of ‘Let’s Step Up‘ for their comeback. The videos of the performance as well as their music video were revealed on YouTube, gaining attention from netizens around the world as well as from professional tappers.

World famous tap dancer Joseph Wiggan even commented, “I saw After School’s tap dance performance on YouTube and they seem to have many charms. I think they will do well in the world, not only in Korea.”

Fans commented, “I’m so proud of After School”, “I want to see more tap dance performances”, “You guys even do well worldwide.”

The multi-talented group is actively promoting their title song, ‘Shampoo‘.

It seems that the whole nation is captivated by the MBC program “I Am A Singer“, and the ladies ofAfter School is no exception to this phenomenon.

On May 8th, Jooyeon uploaded a photo onto her twitter with the caption, “The members who are lost in ‘I Am A Singer’! Everyone is so amazing!” The picture shows the members all gathered together before the television and very concentrated on watching the program.

Lee Da Hae and Heechul’s sisterly friendship revealed

Lee Da Hae and Heechul’s unique friendship was recently revealed.

On May 8th, the actress appeared on MBC’s ‘Section TV Entertainment News‘ and described Heechul as “A man who’s like my biological sister“.

Heechul explained how they first met, saying, “We met at Lee Hongki’s birthday party and got close. We’re just friends but I do think that she has feelings for me.”

He added, “Unlike her superior beauty, she lacks femininity and seems a bit tomboyish and man-like.” Lee Da Hae countered his statement by saying, “Oppa is quite feminine and lacks masculinity. That’s why I was able to get close to him.”

Super Junior goes Vietnam with ‘Super Show 3′

Starting from Seoul before traveling to Manila, Beijing, Bangkok, Singapore, Shanghai, Yokohama, Kuala Lumpur, and Taipei, Super Junior’s third Asian tour finally arrived in Ho Chi Minh City for a show in Vietnam.

On May 7th, Super Junior opened their ‘Super Show 3‘ show in Go Dau Stadium to the screams of thousands of fans. Even though the weather was not in their favor and rain was pouring everywhere, about 9,000 fans came to the stadium to see Super Junior.

During the concert, the popular idol group performed many of their hit songs, including ‘Sorry Sorry‘, ‘U‘, and ‘BONAMANA‘. They also held solo performances in addition to stages from Super Junior-Tand Super Junior-M. The concert lasted for 3 hours with 35 performances that captured the hearts of Vietnamese fans.

Vietnam’s press, including THANH NIÊN, XONE FM, and YAN TV covered the event and even celebrities Ho Ngoc Ha and Thanh Hang came to see the performance.

The promoter for the event, Viet Vision, stated, “We were honored that one of the top Asian groups, Super Junior, held a concert in Vietnam. With this successful concert as the starting point, we hope that many more good quality concerts will take place here.”

After School’s UEE recently unveiled the identity of her boyfriend.

On May 8th, the idol tweeted, “I found a boyfriend. Hee thank you. Let’s go see our parents.”

Paula Abdul: I'm So Excited to Judge The X-Factor!

Paula Abdul is officially back.

It took a last-second deal, but the former American Idol judge will rejoin Simon Cowell this fall on Fox, helping to judge The X-Factor. She just released her first statement on the gig:

"I am excited beyond words to be a part of The X Factor. I couldn't be happier to bring my love for cultivating talent and performance to such a wildly anticipated show... I'm also delighted and grateful to be sitting next to Simon again...but you might want to check back with me in a week or two!"

The X-Factor kicked off auditions in Los Angeles on Sunday, with Simon and Paula looking as cozy as ever. The former is psyched to be reunited with his friend and co-worker. Said Cowell:

"This show would never have been the same without Paula and I can't believe I am saying this, [but] I have missed her a lot, and I am thrilled she's on the show."

Rihanna, Chris Brown Booked For Today Show Summer Concert Series

Rihanna will kick off the Today show's star-studded 2011 Summer Concert Series, which commences May 27. Also on the docket this season? Chris Brown!

NBC apparently decided to overlook Brown's Good Morning America meltdown, bringing the star on board for his own live performance airing July 15.

Cee Lo Green and Bruno Mars will also hit the stage in the coming weeks, as will New Kids on the Block and the Backstreet Boys ... together!

Additional Today performers will be announced as the summer continues, but the current list also includes Journey, Maroon 5 and Kenny Chesney.

It's nice that despite his GMA setback, Brown is still getting the chance to do what he used to and hopefully will be best known for again: singing.

We're just glad Teyana Taylor won't be joining him.

File this under things that are never gonna happen, but that Steven Hirsch throws out there anyway just to get his company's name in the news.

The Vivid Entertainment CEO is offering Pippa Middleton $5 million.

Not even to star in a film, but for a single scene. Steve says Kate's sister's "beauty and attitude" could help her become a huge adult star. The fact that there is an arse appreciation society in her honor and some racy pics online won't hurt.

Hirsch is also offering $1 million to another Middleton - Kate and Pippa's brother James - to appear on-screen. Okay, now this is just getting weird.

In February 2009, Vivid offered Nadya Suleman $1 million to appear in a flick. She said no, but then Vivid reportedly bought the deed to her home.

They are dedicated, if nothing else. Fortunately for Pippa Middleton, she's not likely to be swayed by money, given her own assets, the fact that she's now Prince William's sister-in-law and her own wealthy BF Alex Loudon.

Charlie Sheen is Heading Overseas!

The Violent Torpedo Of Truth tour is out. An Evening With Charlie Sheen is possibly in.

During a radio interview with a Sydney station, the actor told host Scott Dooley he was planning to revamp his show a bit and take it overseas.

“Why don’t I take this thing on the road to Australia, parts of Europe, parts of Asia. If I pick out six cities over two weeks and if it wasn’t about violent torpedoes and truth seeking but more about an evening with Charlie Sheen, if I told people what to expect maybe they wouldn’t heckle me like the drunk clowns that they are, ” Sheen said.

The man really knows how to woo an audience, doesn't he?

Responding to criticism over his domestic tour, Sheen said it was "overbooked and it went on too long," adding:

"It wasn’t a question of my fatigue factor, but I had to keep digging a little deeper each night in the new cities to remind myself that it was new for them."

Now "relieved" to be done with it, Sheen concluded the discussion with a jab at Americans: “It would seem like the European mentalities would give me a little more time and a little more patience to actually listen and embrace a format like that, where they come in knowing what to expect."

To his credit, however, the star said all proceeds from any upcoming shows would go to his Torpedoes Against Tornados Foundation.

Taylor Swift Plans Benefit shows for Tornado Victims

Taylor Swift is aiming to assist Alabama.

The singer will raise money for victims of recent tornadoes in that area by holding a dress rehearsal on May 21 in Nashville.

Over 13,000 tickets to the special performance will go on sale, with proceeds going to those in need.

"I was watching the coverage of the tornadoes backstage at rehearsals, and wanted to do something for the families affected by the damage," Swift writes on her website.

"I've never opened a rehearsal to the public before, but I felt that inviting my fans to the last rehearsal for the Speak Now tour would be a great way to raise money."

Hundreds were killed when a natural disaster struck Alabama April 27. Charlie Sheen has actually visited Tuscaloosa and also set up a charity to benefit the region.

As for Swift's Speak Now Tour, it kicks off in Omaha on May 27.
