Marian Rivera stands firm on top spot for four consecutive weeks in partial and unofficial results of FHM 100 Sexiest Women in the World 2011

As the FHM poll for this year's 100 Sexiest Women in the World seals its fourth week, Marian Rivera continues to prevail at the top spot, while Angel Locsin catapults to second place and Sam Pinto and Cristine Reyes trail her in the third and fourth place respectively.

"The numbers we release every week are contingencies from all the votes of the fans and FHM supporters," says FHM Publisher Chad Rosario,

"It just proves that Marian has a very strong fan base."

Meanwhile, the Kapamilya superstar Angel Locsin steps up to the second spot from being last week's third placer.

Last year, Angel took the crown from 2009 FHM Sexiest Woman Cristine Reyes, and this marked her return to the top of the FHM list of Sexiest Women in the World.

If Angel can snatch the top spot from Marian in this year's final tally, not only will she score a back-to-back win in the celebrated poll, but she will also be only the second woman to hold a back-to-back record.

This record is held by Katrina Halili, who rounds up this week's tally in tenth place.

Also in the partial and unofficial Top 10 is Lovi Poe, a newcomer who has never been on the cover of FHM. She is also in the running for this year's Top Ten as she enters the list on the ninth spot this week.

Paul Soriano on marrying Toni Gonzaga: "I'll wait three years."

Bagamat wala pang pormal na wedding proposal ang movie and commercial director na si Paul Soriano kay Toni Gonzaga, marami na ang lumabas na report umano'y magiging plano ng kanilang kasal.

Sa huling interbyu ng TV host-actress, sinabi niya na kung magpapakasal siya, maaaring pagkatapos pa ng tatlong taon.

Tila wala naman itong problema para sa kanyang boyfriend.

"She said three years, then I'll wait three years," sabi ni Direk Paul sa panayam ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) at iba pang media sa kanya sa shooting ng bagong Star Magic Station ID sa Abracadabra Studio sa Makati City.

Nabanggit din niya na may plano naman sila tungkol dito ngunit wala pang tiyak na detalye.

"Of course, we have plans. I pray every night that she's the one, that I spend the rest of my life with her.

"I think we've invested four years of our lives together through the tough times and the good times and we're still here, happy as ever," pahayag ng guwapong direktor.

Sa nakaraang panayam din ni Toni, nabanggit niya na kung sakali, gusto niyang maganap ang kasalan sa kanyang hometown sa Taytay, Rizal.

Ito naman ang naging tugon ni Direk Paul tungkol dito: "I'll leave the wedding to her. Just tell me what time and where, I'll show up.

"I mean, for me, the wedding talaga is about her. It's about the lady.

"It's about Toni, what she wants and what she wants to do.

"Of course, me, I'll just be there. Just tell me what time and what to wear, I'll be there."

Sinabi rin ni Direk Paul na naging pamilyar na siya sa lugar dahil madalas niyang pinupuntahan ang kanyang girlfriend doon tuwing may libre silang oras.

"You know, I've grown up to fall in love with Taytay because I'm always there, every other day.

"Whenever I see her, I'm in Taytay. I go to that same church where she goes.

"She showed me where she used to live, she showed me where she used to go to school and hang out.

"You know, Taytay is like a second home to me already.

"If she wants to get married in Taytay, then, we'll all go to Taytay."

NOT BUILDING A HOUSE YET. Samantala, napag-usapan din ang bali-balitang nagpapagawa na raw ngayon ng bahay ang direktor para kay Toni.

Bahagyang napangiti si Direk Paul nang subukan naming kumpirmahin ito.

Pero aniya, "Am I building a house for her? No not yet.

"Am I gonna build a house for myself? Yes, definitely, I wanna build a house for myself."

Para kay Direk Paul, ang pagpapagawa ng sariling bahay ay isang katuparan ng pangarap para sa lahat.

"I'm definitely saving to build a house. That's something I really wanna do, something, you know, that's kind of a goal or a dream.

"You know, you worked so hard and you save your money and you always wanna build your own house, a sort of accomplishment."

Kung sakali, sabi ni Direk Paul, "If she's with me when it's built, maybe it will be her house also.

"We'll see. We just take it day by day.

"Right now, I'm not building a house.

"I'd like to. But something that's definitely in my plan.

"Maybe I'll take it more seriously. I'll look around before the year ends."

Sinabi rin ni Direk Paul na kung mangyayari na ang pagpapatayo ng kanyang bahay, sisiguraduhin niyang humingi ng tulong kay Toni.

"She built her own house a couple of years ago. You know, you see that through her hardwork, she was able to build her own home.

"Definitely, when I start looking at that direction of building my own house, I'll ask her.

"Marami na siyang contacts already. If I wanna get a good deal here and a good deal there, I think she knows that."

Jaclyn Jose defends daughter Andi Eigenmann against Albie Casiño's allged accusation: "Andi is not a cheater."

Sa kainitan ng isyung namamagitan sa young actress na si Andi Eigenmann at sa young actor na si Albie Casiño, hindi mapigilang maglabas ng kanyang reaksiyon ang mismong ina ng dalaga na si Jaclyn Jose.

Sa pamamagitan ng ilang taong malalapit kay Jaclyn, nais ng award-winning actress na mailathala sa PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) ang kanyang statement tungkol sa kontrobersiyang kinasasangkutan ng anak.

Siya raw ang higit na nakakakilala kay Andi.

Nagdesisyon daw si Jaclyn na basagin ang kanyang katahimikan dahil "mahirap para sa akin to see my daughter in pain."

Narito ang kabuuang pahayag ni Jaclyn:

"Andi is not a cheater. What Albie Casiño claims in his formspring account is not true.

"As her mother, I know Andi best. She is a loving daughter, a professional actress, and a decent human being.

"As a family, we value privacy. We try to keep our personal life private, and out of the news. That's how I've conducted myself throughout my career. Same with Andi.

"I decided to break my silence dahil mahirap para sa akin to see my daughter in pain. I love my daughter and have dedicated my life to her and my son.

"I commend Andi for handling this personal crisis with decency and respect.

"Pinagdadasal ko na matapos na ito. I understand that there are on-going efforts to make that happen. We will give that due course. Thank you for supporting Andi."

Pia Guanio on engagement to Steve Mago: "I'm glad I've finally found a person who can be your partner in life."

Iba ang aura ni Pia Guanio nang mabungaran siya ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) kahapon, May 15, sa dressing room ng isa sa mga studio ng GMA Network Center kung saan umeere ang Showbiz Central.

Blooming at talaga namang kitang-kita na she is very much in love and inspired.

Nagkakabiruan nga ang staff ng show. Huwag daw masyadong aligagain si Pia dahil "momemt" na niya.

Ang susunod na gap kasi ay ang pagsasalita na ng TV host tungkol sa engagement nila ng boyfriend niyang businessman na si Steve Mago.

Marami nga ang nagulat when the news came out na ikakasal na si Pia.

Parang kailan lang kasi nang nag-break sila ni Vic Sotto. Tapos, she was seen dating someone else.

At ngayon nga, biglang mapapabalitang engaged na siya.

Noong May 7, Sabado, naganap ang pamamanhikan ni Steve sa pamilya ni Pia sa resthouse ng TV host sa Tagaytay.

Kasunod nito ang pagsisimula nang magplano ng dalawa tungkol sa kanilang kasal.

Una na raw rito ang listahan ng kanilang secondary at principal sponsors, na kinabibilangan daw nina Mike Enriquez at Mel Tiangco, ang news anchors ng 24 Oras kung saan may segment si Pia na "Chika Minute."

THE PROPOSAL. Kitang-kita sa mukha ni Pia ang sobrang kaligayahang nararamdaman nang sumalang na siya sa live interview sa kanya ng co-hosts niyang sina Raymond Gutierrez at John 'Sweet" Lapus.

Ang unang tanong kay Pia ay kung paano ba naganap ang proposal sa kanya.

"It was quite a surprise. I wasn't expecting it at all," sagot ni Pia.

"Primarily because... I mean, I'll say it straight... Di ba, we've been dating for less than a year only?

"So, it really came as a surprise to me that he made such a big move so soon.

"So, one morning, he just woke me up. And when I opened my eyes, I saw a box with a ring in it."

Sandaling naging speechless daw si Pia nang mga oras na iyon. Walaraw siyang anumang nasabi.

"Kasi, nakakabigla talaga!" natawa niyang sabi.

"Parang overwhelming and you don't know what to say when it finally does happen, you know.

"And then outside, he has prepared a breakfast with champagne.

"So, ang sagot ko... Napatago ako under the blanket! Ha-ha-ha!

"Hindi ko na kailangang iesplika na, 'yeah, na ang ibig sabihin ni Pia ay umoo siya sa proposal ni Steve.

Dagdag niya, "I don't blame people if they're quite shocked by that news. Because I purposely wanted to keep this a very private matter.

"He is a very private person. He is not from show business. His family is also very private.

"So, as much as possible, I wanted to keep everything just to ourselves. Even the engagement."

Pero dahil nga naisulat na ang tungkol sa kanilang relasyon, kinailangan na nga raw na magsalita.

"I think it was in bad taste naman to deny it, di ba?" sabi niya.

WHO IS STEVE? Marami ang curious makilala kung sino nga ba ang Steve Mago na ito na mapapangasawa ni Pia.

Ang sabi, parang mala-Ivan Mayrina raw ang dating nito—guwapo, matangkad, at lalakeng-lalake ang dating.

"Makalaglag-panty" raw sabi pa ng isa sa staff ng Showbiz Central na nakita na nang personal si Steve.

Mukha rinng mahusay magtago ang Steve na ito. Lagi niyang sinusundo si Pia pagkatapos ng trabaho ng TV host, pero walang nakakakita sa kanya.

"I have such a hard time hearing his name on air," ani Pia.

"Kasi nga, he is not from show business.

"Actually, he's quite shy.

"I was begging him to come on air for me a few minutes today. Pero ayaw niya talaga.

"Mahiyain talaga siya. He's very private. He's not used to this whole thing at all.

"And, of course, we also want to protect this privacy.

"He's really a very sweet guy. He's very thoughtful.

"One of the best things that I like most about him is that he's such a thoughtful guy.

"Na parang...in any plan that he has, even for himself, he will always include you.

"And I found that very impressive kasi these days, we all can be self-centered.

"I'm glad I've finally found a person who can be your partner in life."

Lagi raw nga niyang ipinagdadasal ang tungkol sa kanila ni Steve. At ipinagpapasalamat na sila ang naitakda ng kapalaran para sa isa't isa.

"I feel nga na... Ever since this relationship started, parang there would be a way always to do things. There would a means always to make things possible.

"I felt like God was opening doors for us to get together. To get closer.

"You know how the Bible said that He'll make all things work well to your good. And I felt like that was exactly what was happening between me and him.

"He's a very spiritual person. I love the fact that when we started dating, he was very open and welcoming to the idea of becoming Christian.

"And I'm always praying for him, for that to happen."

Si Pia na rin nga ang nagsabi na ang future husband niyang si Steve is a very private individual.

For sure, hindi madali for him na ang mapapangasawa niya ay isang public figure na gaya ni Pia. Na kapag nasa labas sila, paagtitinginan sila ng mga tao.

Napag-usapan ba nila ang tungkol dito?

"You know what I find admirable about him, he understands very well the nature of my job. So, I love that," sabi ni Pia.

PAMAMANHIKAN. How did her family react nang malaman ang tungkol sa engagement nila ni Steve? Ano rin ang naging reaksiyon ng mga kaibigan at iba pang malalapit sa kanya?

"My family was also in shock," sagot ni Pia.

"But then, you know what I love about them is the fact that parang...

"No'ng nangyari 'yong pamamanhikan, they instantly just got along so well.

"His family, my family, and of course that matters so much."

Paano nga ba 'yong nangyaring pamamanhikan?

"It was so cute!" bulalas niya.

"Three or four vans of Steve's family came over. Everybody was like super-duper excited! That we couldn't exclude anyone.

"Parang we just have to fill everyone in. Tapos, ang dami-dami nang naki-celebrate sa amin."

Relieved na ba ang pakiramdam niya ngayon that she is able to talk about Steve at ang pagpapakasal nila?

"I'm glad that I was able to tell my bosses before it came out into the open. My bosses in Eat Bulaga!, I was able to tell them.

"Kasi, I feel like they deserve that kind of respect. That was such a big relief."

Ano naman ang naging reaksiyon ng mga Dabarkads o kasamahan niya sa Eat Bulaha!?

"They were congratulating me. They were wishing me luck.

"Tita Malou [Choa Fagar, TAPE executive] said she will continue to pray that it works out.

"She's also very happy to know na he's Christian. So, that was such a 'hooo!'"

May mga detalye na ba siyang puwedeng mai-share tungkol sa kanilang pinaplano nang kasal?

Will it be a simple wedding? O gugustuhin niyang maging magarbo at engrande ito?

"I can't imagine an engrandeng wedding. I can't imagine entertaining so many people! I'm going to die!" tawa ni Pia.

"So, it's going to be a very intimate. And it's going to be very simple. And it's gonna be sometime next year probably."

Agaw-eksena ang maraming artista nang ganapin ang Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Awards last May 10, Martes, kabilang na sina Bea Alonzo, Gerald Anderson at Kim Chiu. Matatandaang nagkaroon ng love triangle ang tatlo previously at sa nasabing awards night ay nagdedmahan diumano sila na itinanggi naman ng tatlo. 

“Wala pong dedmahan, malayo po ‘yung upuan namin,” sagot ni Gerald nang tanungin kung ‘di raw ba niya pinansin si Bea. “Oo, smile (kami sa isa’t isa),pero alangan naman pupuntahan ko pa (sa puwesto nila), andun pa sina Ms. Ai Ai (delas Alas) sonakakahiya naman din.” 

Sa hiwalay na interview ay ganun din ang sinabi ni Bea. “Wala namang dedmahaman. Ang layo kasi ng upuan niya (Gerald), awkward naman kung pupunta ako sa dulo just to say hi to them. Parang nakakahiya naman na gagawa ako ng eksena. Hello, kung lumapit pa ako dun I’m sure malaking bulungan ‘yon ‘di ba?” depensa ng mahusay na aktres. 

Mariing itinanggi rin nina Bea at Kim na nagkaroon ng isnaban sa kanilang dalawa. Kuwento pa ni Kim ay nagbatian pa sila ni Bea. “Hindi totoo (na nag-isnaban kami). Nag-hello kami, hi-hi ganyan.” Dagdag pa ng aktres, walang dahilan para sila mag-isnaban. “Wala naman pong ‘di pagpapansinan. Bakit naman po kami hindi magiging okay? Kahit kailangan ‘di naman kami nagkasamaan ng loob.”  

Sabi ni Gerald ay civil silang lahat sa isa’t isa at gusto na nilang kalimutan ang nangyari dahil nnoong nakaraang taon pa ito. “Last year pa ho ‘yon. Tapos na ‘yon, masaya kaming lahat sa status namin, wala kaming problema at all.” 

Dagdag pa ni Bea ang problema ay iniisip ng mga taong nakapaligid sa kanila pero para sa kanila ay wala na iyon. “’Pag kami-kami lang naman, parang wala namang issues. Parang feeling ko ‘pag mga ganung eventslang kasi ‘yung mga tao ang focus nila nasa amin dahil sa mga issues. Wala na it’s so last year.”

Jay Montelibano thankful for support of TV5; hopes for return of advertisers to Wil Time Bigtime

Bumalik na sa ere ang controversial TV host na si Willie Revillamelast Saturday, May 14, sa panibago niyang show na Wil Time Bigtime sa TV5.

Halos isang buwan din nawala si Willie sa ere dahil sa isyung kinasangkutan nito dahil sa March 12 episode ng Willing Willie.

Magarbo ang set ng panibagong game show ni Willie, lalo pa at may LED screen na nakikita sa studio floor nito.

Halatang pinaghandaan ang pagbabalik dahil sa malaking attraction ang LED floor na ginamit during the opening number ng show.

Ginamit din ito pati sa game show portions tulad ng "Red, White, or Blue" at "Step Yes, Step No."

Nakausap ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) at iba pang press ang business unit head ng Wil Time Bigtime na si Jay Montelibano pagkatapos ng show.

"Of course, we're very, very happy," sagot ni Jay nang tanungin siya tungkol sa suporta na ibinibigay ng TV5 sa kanila.

"I mean, TV5 has really been supportive sa amin."

Tanda raw ni Jay ang sinabi ng chairman ng TV5 na si Manny V. Pangilinan sa kanila.

"Like what Willie said kanina, he said that he doesn't want him to quit.

"He told him na his pain is their pain.

"And of course, his strength is going to be their strength.

"And for us, we felt vindicated to go on."

Isa sa mga changes na ginawa nila ay ang pagpapalit ng pangalan. Mismong si Willie raw ang namili sa panibagong name ng show.

"Wil Time Bigtime has a very international sound to it," sabi niya tungkol sa pagpapalit ng pangalan ng game show.

"Willing Willie is a Tagalong term. Naka-wiwili, ka-wili-wili."

"It will be easier now when we go abroad, especially when TV5 will go international.

"The Wil Time Bigtime name is easier to promote.

"And since we changed 85 percent of the content, binago talaga namin yung title.

"It has always been an entertainment-variety-game show. The difference now would be in the games itself since it's a different content.

"If you noticed, Wil Time Bigtime is a segment title na ginawa lang na title of the show.

"Yung Wil Time Bigtime was still retained as the segment title and of course, it's now the title of the show.

"And when we were looking for a title, we weren't looking for any precedent."

Incidentally, sa "Wil Time Bigtime" portion noon ng Willing Willie naganap ang kontrobersiya sa March 12 episode nito, kung saan isang isang six-year-old contestant ang nagsayaw na parang "macho dancer."

FIRST IN ASIA. Tinanong din kung magkano ang nagastos ng production sa nasabing LED flooring. Proud pa nga si Willie na banggitin na ang Wil Time Bigtime lang ang may ganito sa buong Asia.

"It's ours. Kami ang gumastos," sabi ni Jay tungkol sa LED television flooring.

"It's 15 million pesos for the LED floor alone excluding pa the software.

"The back portion LED of the studio, that's about 12 million pesos, and the sides are about another six million.

"They were actually looking at so many catalogues from the U.S. And noong nakita nga itong LED floor na ito, immediately we thought of ways to play games with the LED floor.

"After going through it, we choose this actually.

"And noong sinabi namin sa TV5 na kukunin namin ito, sabi nila na 'ireregalo namin ito sa inyo.'"

RETURN OF ADVERTISERS? Naungkat naman ang isyu kung babalik ba ang advertisers sa show nila.

Isa sa mga dahilan kaya kaya nawala ang Willing Willie last April dahil sa pullout ng mga advertisers.

"I'm confident that most of the advertisers will be coming back," sagot ni Jay.

"Especially now that we changed the title of the show to Wil Time Bigtime.

"If there is anything where they would be alluding to the former show na Willing Willie, at least ngayon it's a totally new show.

"It's a clean slate."

Banggit pa niya, may ilang advertisers na raw silang kausap at personal pa niyang inaasikaso na kausapin ang sponsors para sa show.

"Yesterday [May 13], I met with one advertiser. The other day with another advertiser," banggit niya.

"Actually, the ones that I meet with ay nakausap na ng mga taga-TV5 prior.

"I meet with them after to discuss further details. They're very responsive to what I presented to them.

"We actually feel vindicated and we thank MTRCB for that."

MTRCB GUIDANCE. Isa sa mga condition sa pagbabalik sa ere ni Willie sa telebisyon ay ang daily monitoring ng Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) sa kanyang show.

"We give them [MTRCB] a tape of what we air after," sabi ni Jay.

"It's for them to assess if we violated any of their guidelines or their rules.

"As far as we are concerned with Wil Productions, we have the internal TV5 Ombudsman who looks after the content."

Dagdag pa niya, "It has made us more aware of our social responsibility, our responsibility as media people.

"Nabanggit naman ni Willie iyan kanina during the show na we are more conscious now.

"We are really after the welfare of the show and the people.

"If you also noticed, wala kaming children as contestants.

"Mayroon kaming moratorium from TV5 and we are here to follow that.

"If before, it was purely entertainment na we were highlighting the contestants, now it's really based on hope and of character and of the spirit.

"We want to use them as examples of life-changing stories."
